Over approximately 10 hours, visit Datanla Waterfall, Robin Hill Cable Car, Truc Lam Monastery, Crazy House, Bao Dai Palace, Da Lat Railway Station, Linh Phuoc Pagoda and Lam Vien Square.

Suggested itinerary

  1. Robin Hill Cable Car · Truc Lam Monastery

The Da Lat cable car starts at Robin Hill and runs for about 2.3 km toward Truc Lam Monastery. The cabins provide broad views over pine forests and the highland cityscape.

  2. Datanla Waterfall

Datanla Waterfall lies in the forest along Prenn Pass, with a drop of about 20 metres and a gorge continuing below. It is a major natural sight south of Da Lat and is also known for its walking paths and alpine coaster.

  3. Crazy House

Crazy House is an unconventional architectural space built around curves and organic forms rather than straight lines. Its tree- and cave-like shapes, narrow passages and stairways make it one of Da Lat best-known experimental buildings.

  4. Bao Dai Palace III

Bao Dai Palace III was a residence of Bao Dai, the last emperor of Vietnam. The two-storey building preserves reception, work and royal family living spaces, offering a view of court life and European-influenced modern architecture.

  5. Da Lat Railway Station

Da Lat Railway Station is a historic 1930s railway building. Its three high roofs are often interpreted as references to Langbiang peaks or Central Highlands communal houses, making it one of the city architectural landmarks.

  6. Linh Phuoc Pagoda

Linh Phuoc Pagoda was built in 1949 and is best known for elaborate mosaics made from ceramic, porcelain and glass fragments. Its long dragon sculpture and richly detailed temple architecture are also distinctive.

  7. Lam Vien Square · Xuan Huong Lake

Xuan Huong Lake lies in the city center and is often described as the heart of Da Lat. Historic architecture and walking areas surround the water, which was recognized as a national scenic site in 1988.
